Media inquiries
The Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Public Affairs team is available 24/7 to help media representatives identify information, navigate VCH facilities, programs, and operations, as well as coordinate interviews with VCH subject matter experts.
Note: if you are a VCH employee who has been contacted directly by media, please refer the enquiry to VCH Public Affairs using the contact details below, as appropriate.

Media guidelines
To ensure inquiries are facilitated as efficiently and effectively as possible, media are asked to keep the following guidelines in mind:

Media inquiries
All media inquiries – including requests for information, statements, interviews, and filming – are directed to and coordinated by VCH Public Affairs.

Visiting VCH facilities
Media representatives visiting a VCH facility must receive approval from and be escorted by a member of VCH Public Affairs (or designate) before entering the facility.

Media consent
Media must secure appropriate written consent from relevant VCH patients, clients, residents and employees before filming or conducting interviews.

Filming requests
All filming requests (commercial and non-commercial) must include a written synopsis of the project and be submitted to VCH Public Affairs for review.
