A women-only overdose prevention site where teams of trained staff monitor the use of illicit drugs to help prevent and recover from overdoses. Chronic disease management, pregnancy testing, and screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections are provided by a nurse practitioner.

Clients are accepted until 30 minutes before closing time.

This service is a partnership of Atira Women's Resource Society, the City of Vancouver, BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre and Vancouver Coastal Health. 

SisterSpace

SisterSpace is a safe, clean supported environment where women can inject their drugs inside with other women who care about their safety and security. If they choose, they can connect to addiction, health care and community services, information about which and referrals will be made on-site.
