Medical Radiation Technologist: Magnetic Resonance Imaging
As a technologist certified in Magnetic Resonance, you will use magnetic resonance to create 3D images of the patient's body to help diagnose and treat their illnesses. You will work with patients before, during and after the procedure, ensuring they are prepared and comfortable for the exam. Patients range from scheduled outpatients to urgent emergency patients.
Medical Radiation Technologist: Nuclear Medicine
As a technologist certified in Nuclear Medicine, you will be administering radioactive material and imaging patients to help diagnose and treat their illnesses. You will work with patients before, during and after their procedure, ensuring they are prepared and comfortable for the exam. Patients range from scheduled outpatients to in-patients.
Medical Radiation Technologist: Radiological Technology
As a technologist certified in radiological technology you can begin your career performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures. There are opportunities to advance your career in radiology with additional education, training and experience. Branch off into computed tomography, screening or diagnostic mammography, interventional radiology, or bone densitometry. The range of procedures in radiography differ between sites and are largely based on the size of the hospital and /or the location.
Sonographer: General Ultrasound, Cardiac (Echocardiology) and Breast Imaging
As a certified sonographer, you will use a transducer that emits high-frequency sound waves to create detailed images and perform assessments of internal structures to help a radiologist determine if structures are normal or abnormal. This role is diverse, dynamic, and active in many areas within health care. Sonography is a versatile field with many options for specialization and work settings such as general ultrasound, echocardiology and breast imaging.

Imaging Informatics Technologist (IIT)
In this position, you will support daily users of clinical systems as well as the system and equipment. You will be a liaison between clinical users and the service team. You will learn how to develop and update manuals, perform routine audits, and provide statistical analysis. The installation and maintenance of IT equipment is also involved.

Imaging Informatics Coordinator (IIC) or Specialist (IIS)
In this position you will be responsible for providing imaging informatics support for systems as as well as other clinical applications. In this role you will learn to develop specifications, test dictionaries and report formats. You will have the opportunity to liaise with vendors and health authority information management colleagues.

Imaging Informatics Supervisor

Site Clinical Instructor
This role coordinates training activities for students within MI and acts as a liaison between academic institutions and departmental personnel. In addition to instructing students, you will evaluate student progress during clinical. In this role, you will be supported by your supervisor, site coordinator and academic institution liaison.

Site Clinical Educator
In this role, you will learn how to create tools to support staff education, provide in-services, perform competency assessments and support adult learners to achieve competencey with department protocols, imaging and ancillary equipment, clinical system applications and department workflows.

Regional Educator
This role is responsible for identifying, coordinating and leading education activities for students and staff across MI. Providing training and education to staff/students in your applicable MI modality, including leading knowledge transfer and assisting with the development of new clinical practices.

Regional Practice Lead
As the Regional Practice Lead, you are accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining practice standards for your specialty area within MI. You will provide leadership, direction and guidance on practice activities. You will learn to develop, review and implement practice standards in conjunction with leadership.

Regional Manager Clinical Education
This role leads the development and management of a regional clinical education strategy that supports the development of MI leaders. You will provide educational assistance by establishing initiatives to support education and learning. The Manager collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders, including MI leadership, professional practice and academic institutions.
