Harm reduction: Toward the Heart
Mental health and substance use counsellors provide short-term individual and group therapy for adults with moderate to severe mental health and substance use concerns. These services are time-limited with the goal of reducing problematic symptoms, improving self-management skills, and increasing quality of life.

Adults, 19 years and older, can refer themselves, or be referred by someone else, either by writing, phoning, or dropping by the Sunshine Coast Mental Health and Substance Use Central Intake.
Hours of operation
- Monday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
