Rapid Access Neurology at Lions Gate Hospital

Includes neurological consultation and examination, review of imaging, ordering of necessary diagnostic tests to facilitate a workup for causes of stroke and recommendations on management and prevention.

Other urgent general neurology cases including first onset seizure, worrisome headaches and vertigo, and diplopia referred by emergency rooms are also often triaged to be seen urgently in this clinic.

  • Get a referral

    All patients require a referral from a health-care practitioner to be seen in this clinic. Referrals are triaged based on the urgency of symptoms in the referral note.
