Sexual Health Clinic at qathet General Hospital

Our youth-oriented sexual health services are moving to our Sexual Health Clinics.

We still offer all the same services with youth-protected hours at our usual locations, and our all-ages clinics are open to everyone, youth included. Please check the individual clinic pages for eligibility, booking information and other details.

Sexual Health Clinics offer free comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services for all ages, all genders and all orientations.

We are committed to providing confidential, caring, and sex-positive services, including:  

  • STI testing & treatment, and partner follow-up
  • Birth control options including: pills, patches, rings, implants, shots and IUDs
  • Emergency contraception, including pills or IUDs
  • HIV Pre Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
  • Pregnancy options counselling & referrals
  • Harm reduction, including free condoms and naloxone kits
  • Immunizations (HPV, Mpox, Hep A & B)

How to get here

Parking

Free parking. Level entry access around the back of hospital. Enter the doors and take your first right to check in with reception.

Public transit

Route 9: Brooks School 

Take from high school to north end of mall [ZL[1] 

Walking from the mall:

  • Walk across Alberni St. to Saskatchewan Ave and go to end of Saskatchewan Ave.
  • Take a slight right and walk up Abbotsford until you see the large parking lot at back side of qathet Hospital. 

Bus Route 3: Upper Westview 

Take to qathet hospital and south end of mall 

Entry from front of qathet Hospital

  • Enter main doors
  • Take elevator or stairs up to the 3rd floor
  • Follow signs to Community Health
  • Check-in with reception
