Long-term care and assisted living resources for operators
Vancouver Coastal Health is committed to working with all homes in the Coastal, Richmond and Vancouver Communities of Care to deliver the best possible care experience for residents and their families. These resources are provided for operators of facilities offering long-term care and assisted living.
Long-Term Care Community of Practice
The LTC Community of Practice is a group of people who share a common concern, a set of problems, or interest in a topic and who come together to fulfil both individual and group goals. (Cambridge and Suter 2005)
The VCH LTC Community of Practice will provide a forum to:
- build connections across the sector,
- share the wealth of knowledge and experience,
- showcase innovative practices that homes are proud of,
- promote best practice and the latest research,
- explore areas of concern and find solutions together,
- provide education.
To receive meeting details or to suggest a topic for a future meeting, please email VCH-LTC-Connections@vch.ca
