Alyssa Robinson is a family-trained nurse practitioner at BC Children’s hospital in the pediatric orthopedic department. Her practice focuses on pediatric trauma, developmental dysplasia of the hip and general orthopedic care.
Alyssa received her Orthopaedic in Nursing Certification Canada in 2019 and earned her Master of Nursing- Nurse Practitioner degree in 2022 from the University of British Columbia. She has worked in a variety of acute pediatric areas, including the emergency department and orthopedic clinic, as a registered nurse. She started her career as an NP in pediatric orthopedics combining two of her passions, pediatrics and orthopedics. The only thing she loves more than pediatric orthopedics is a good pun, and she’s not pulling your arm on that one!
