Room and building

Cedarview Lodge is an 89 bedroom facility. All rooms are single occupancy with ensuite washrooms. 22 rooms are in a secure Special Care Unit, and 7 are Respite Rooms. Central dining and activity spaces. 

Situated in a quiet, treed cul-de-sac and having large enclosed gardens and courtyards. 

Language, culture, religious affiliations

None - 100% government funded. Language spoken by residents is predominantly English. Cedarview welcomes all linguistic, cultural and religious affiliations. 

Special recreation opportunities

Cedarview Lodge has an activities department that offers activity programming, including Music Therapy, seven days a week. Residents are provided a monthly newsletter and activity calendar.

Accessibility

Fully wheelchair accessible. Two elevators to the second floor. Motorized scooters cannot be accommodated in the facility. Electric wheelchairs will be considered on an individual basis.

Safety and security features

No onsite security, residents are protected with Wanderalert bracelets if necessary to prevent wandering. The facility has a keypad entrance/exit 24/7. 

Neighbourhood and community 

Beside an elementary school so use intergenerational programs. Close to community centre with pool programs for seniors. Park area close by.
 

Cedarview Lodge

Cedarview Lodge is a two-storey, wooden building with three nursing units located in a quiet, treed cul-de-sac and has large enclosed gardens and courtyards.
