Activity rooms, main TV lounge; hair salon, 6 dining areas, and access to outdoor garden courtyard.  Overhead lift system installed in the majority of the resident rooms. Administration offices are located on the main floor.

Language, culture, religious affiliations

The resident population is multicultural and languages spoken by residents are predominantly English.

Special recreation opportunities

A wide variety of social and recreational programming to meet the needs and interests of the residents. Activities also include outings. Scheduled programs are offered 6 days a week, and include such things as music programs, strength training, special events, etc.

Accessibility

Both floors are wheelchair accessible. The site can accommodate manual and electric wheelchairs. Secured scooter storage is available.

Safety and security 

24-hour staffing and sprinkler/smoke detectors and fire alarm system.  Wander-guard systems to ensure resident safety.  Security personnel available 24 hours a day via Squamish General Hospital.

Neighbourhood and community 

Located in the tranquil setting with beautiful mountain views; also located on a major bus route. 

Hilltop House

Hilltop house is a two story building with section built in 1984 and an addition in 2009. It is connected with a walkway to Squamish General Hospital.
