Richmond Hospital IV Clinic relocates to permanent home

Richmond Hospital’s IV clinic has moved to its new permanent location as of October 13, 2023. The relocated clinic will now be housed in Room 1016 on the ground floor of the Milan Ilich Pavilion, a strategic relocation necessitated by the upcoming construction of the Yurkovich Family Pavilion, a nine-floor acute care tower.

It was absolutely clinically necessary to maintain accessibility to IV Clinic services within the hospital's premises. The move also ensures that patients who require ambulatory care outpatient services continue to receive the essential care they need.

The newly renovated permanent IV Clinic space has been thoughtfully designed to align with the current and future demands of patient care.

“We are so happy to have secured a permanent home for the IV Clinic, this new and renovated location will make the overall patient experience more seamless, and we can deliver care in a space that truly works for us.”

- Jordana Keil, Program Manager.

The addition of the new nine-floor Yurkovich Family Pavillion to the hospital will include a bigger emergency department, more operating rooms, a fully equipped medical imaging department, a pharmacy, and dedicated short-stay pediatrics.
