About the conference

This first-of-its-kind, in-person conference brings together clinicians working in Urgent and Primary Care Centres. It provides a unique opportunity for attendees to participate in hands-on workshops, get up-to-date information on important clinical topics and connect and network with peers.

  • Participate in hands-on workshops and learn from peers to strengthen your clinical skills and practical techniques.

  • Get up-to-date information on important clinical topics and to enhance your knowledge and practice.

  • Network with clinicians to build partnerships and gain support in your practice.

This one credit-per-hour group learning activity has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the British Columbia Chapter for up to eight Mainpro+ certified credits.

Point of Care Ultrasound (3 hrs)

*NOTE: This is a 3-hour hands-on Point of Care Ultrasound workshop taught by a team of experienced instructors. There will be one instructor per two participants. You will be practicing scans on live models. Please expect 2-3 hours of pre-workshop material to be studied online at cpocus.ca. In addition to the hands-on Point of Care Ultrasound workshop fee, there is a $25 material cost for the pre-workshop reading material. This cost is payable at cpocus.ca and includes one-year access to cpocus.ca materials.  The instructor will send participants the details of the recommended reading ahead of the workshop day.
